Commercial Waste Recycling

Weir Waste Services operates a Commercial Waste MRF (material recycling facility). The purpose of this waste segregation plant is to extract any recyclable materials that are in the commercial waste stream. reducing the amount of waste that would otherwise be destined for landfill. The materials we recycle are cardboard, timber waste, green waste, ferrous and non ferrous metals, rigid and soft plastics including drinks bottles, glass bottles and mixed papers. Once segregated the majority of the materials are then baled and distributed for onward processing at the appropriate processing plants.
